Broccoli Pasta Cooking Instructions

  1. Start boiling the water to cook the pasta. Add 1 cube of broth!
  2. Cook the pasta al Dente. Read here how to cook pasta to perfection.
  3. Start cooking the broccoli in the chicken broth/stock for about 5 minutes. The broccoli is ready when you prick it with a fork and the fork goes in easily.
  4. Start frying the chicken in some oil. If you want you can also add 1 chicken broth cube here. This will make the chicken go really well with the broccoli, add when the chicken is almost brown!
  5. Take out the broccoli when ready and drain well.
  6. Take 1/3 of the broccoli florets (the top) and cut in very small pieces. This should go quite easy because they are all very small separate pieces if you look good!
  7. Add this to the egg and beat the mixture a bit more until it’s 1 nice green egg mass.
  8. Cut the rest of the broccoli in bite sized pieces!
  9. Drain the pasta and put on a very low heat.
  10. Add the broccoli-egg-sauce and stir until it’s all around the pasta!
  11. Add the rest of the broccoli, chicken and the olives!
  12. Give it a final stir and let it rest for a minute! So all ingredients get used to each other.
  13. Finally, add the feta cheese! You add this in the end because we don’t want the feta to melt.
  14. You’re home-cooked broccoli pasta is ready! Be proud!
