Easy Lasagna Preparation

  • Chop the onion in small pieces, the smaller the better so the flavors mix more with the meat
  • Chop the garlic in small pieces, again: the smaller the better!
  • Chop the sundried tomatoes in half!

Easy Lasagna Cooking Instructions

  1. Put some oil in a pan and sauté the onion until it gets glassy. Like a bit transparent, just don’t fry them too long!
  2. Add the garlic to the pan and give it a stir.
  3. Also add the minced meat to the pan while the onion/garlic is not 100% sautéed. They will bake a bit more!
  4. Bake on a medium to high temperature. We want to have the meat brown (not grey). Stir until the meat is in small pieces!
  5. When the meat is nicely brown and maybe even has some crunchy pieces in there, add the dried herbs, salt, pepper, tomato sauce and sundries tomatoes!
  6. Give it all a good stir until the sauce is boiling!
  7. Now we start making layers. Put a little sauce in the casserole so there is a thin layer that covers the whole bottom.
  8. Put a layer of lasagna sheets.
  9. Add a layer of pasta sauce. Just enough so it covers all sheets.
  10. Keep on doing this until you have enough for 2 more layers.
  11. Add ½ of the cheese on second last layer on the sauce.
  12. Add another layer of lasagna and top it off with the sauce.
  13. Finally we put the rest of the cheese on top. Make sure the cheese covers all of the lasagna and the sauce!
  14. Bake in the over at 40min at 356°F or 180°C – or when the cheese on top is crunchy
  15. You don’t need a timer. When the cheese is starting to get a little gold / brown, this means that the lasagna is ready! The sheets are fully cooked and the cheese is full of flavor and crunchy!
  16. Let the lasagna sit outside of the oven for about 15min before serving. This way it’s easier to slice the lasagna and you won’t burn your mouth while eating it!
