Mushroom Pasta Recipe Preparation

  • Cut the onion as small as possible
  • Cut the garlic as small as possible
  • Gently brush and clean the mushrooms (not with water, this will make it soaky)
  • Cut the big mushrooms in half. Keep the small ones in tact
  • Beat the black pepper to small pieces (with a hammer or bottle?). Or use a peppermill, but don’t make the pieces too small. You want a little bite in there!

Mushroom Pasta Recipe Cooking Instructions

  1. Start cooking the pasta al Dente. Read here how to cook pasta to perfection.
  2. Put a little oil in a frying pan and add the onion on medium heat.
  3. Add the garlic and the mushrooms when the onions get a bit glazy. After about 5min let’s say.
  4. Fry a bit more for about 5 minutes on medium heat. Keep on stirring the mushrooms!
  5. Add the beaten black pepper pieces, the thyme branches and the cream cheese.
  6. Put the heat down a bit on low and let all the ingredients get to know each other for about 10-15 minutes. Stir a bit; keep an eye on the pan!
  7. Take out the thyme before serving!
  8. Drain the pasta, but don’t mix with the mushroom sauce.
  9. Serve the pasta on a plate and put the mushroom sauce on top, next to it or on the bottom. Just try to keep both a bit separated for this time!
  10. Because the plate may look a bit pale, add some rocket, fresh basil or any other green for the looks. But you can of course also serve your Mushroom Pasta Recipe without!
