Pasta Bake Cooking Instructions

  1. Cook the pasta al Dente. Read here how to cook pasta to perfection.
  2. Fry the bacon on medium heat for about 15min for extra crunchiness.
  3. Add the shrimp, stir and turn off the heat! Don’t cool the shrimp now.
  4. Put all of the butter in a small-medium sized pan over medium heat
  5. When the butter is starting to melt add all of the garlic!
  6. When melted put on low heat and slowly add ½ flour and stir. The slower you add the flower the better, otherwise you’ll get lumps.
  7. Keep on stirring and add 1/2 of the milk.
  8. Again repeat with the flour to add all of the flour in there! While you add it, add the rest of the milk as well. Keep on stirring!
  9. Now we can start adding the cheeses. Again, the slower you do this the better. Just add some cheese, stir until melted and add more cheese. Stir more until melted and add all cheese! You got this!
  10. When the cheese doesn’t melt, keep on stirring and add a little milk!
  11. Add the bacon and shrimp to the cheese sauce. Also put in all the fat from the pan for extra flavor
  12. Add the homemade cheese sauce with the bacon/shrimp mixture and the boiled pasta in a casserole.
  13. Of course, you may add a bit of more cheese to top it all off!
  14. Cook for about 20min at 356°F or 180°C!
