Pasta Carbonara Recipe Instructions

  1. Cook the pasta al Dente. Read here how to cook pasta to perfection.
  2. Fry the bacon with some oil. To make it crispy, you cook on medium to low temperature for about 20min. Don’t throw away the fat, we use this to season the pasta!
  3. Beat all the eggs and give it a good stir!
  4. Grind the cheese (if not already) into small pieces.
  5. When the pasta is ready and drained: Add all of the egg so it solidifies and becomes one with the pasta.
  6. If the pasta is already too cold to make the egg solidify, just put it on the lowest heat possible and keep on stiring.
  7. Add the bacon when it’s crispy!  Also add some of the fat from the pan, this will give it a great flavor! Don’t make it too greasy though!
  8. Add about 2/3 of the grated cheese to the pasta and stir so the cheese gets everywhere!
  9. Put some rocket on a plate and put the Pasta Carbonara on top! And add some of the cherry tomatoes on top.
  10. Add the rest of the cheese to the pasta! Enjoy!
