Pork Pasta step-by-step

Pork Pasta Ingredients

Penne 18 ounces 500 grams
Bacon slices 4 ounces 120 grams
Chorizo 7 ounces 200 grams
Cream cheese 5 ounces 150 grams
Parmesan 3 ounces 90 grams
Parsley 2 ounces 50grams
Chives 3 ounces 70 grams

Pork Pasta Preparation

  • Chop the parsley in fine pieces
  • Chop the chives as small as possible
  • Chop the chorizo in medium bite-sized chunks
  • Pre-heat the oven at 300 Fahrenheit or 150 Celcius

Pork Pasta Cooking Instructions

  1. Put the bacon on the baking paper and bake in the oven at 300F or 150C for about 20 minutes.
  2. Take out the bacon. Put it on new baking paper and bake for about 15min more. This way the bacon gets dry and loses most of its fat.
  3. Take out the bacon and chop as fine as possible. Grind it even if you can. Try to make in dust. If this is not possible, put the bacon back in the oven and bake more until it’s dry.
  4. Cook the pasta al Dente. Read here how to cook pasta to perfection.
  5. Stir-fry the chorizo chunks on medium heat for about 5minutes
  6. Put on low heat and add the cream cheese, chives and parsley.
  7. When the mixture is one whole add the Parmesan and give it a good stir.
  8. Add the drained pasta to the frying pan and give it a good stir.
  9. Serve on a plate
  10. Top with your homemade bacon-dust-sprinkles and more Parmasan
