Okay we’re not going to lie; this is not the healthiest recipe out there.

But it’s one of the tastiest pasta recipes we know! That is, if you like salmon. Yet you are more than welcome to substitute the salmon with for example chicken or pork! Or anything you like!

Salmon Pasta Recipe step-by-step

Salmon Pasta Recipe Ingredients

Water to boil pasta A big pan A big pan
Tagliatelle 10 ounces 300 grams
Smoked Salmon 7 ounces 200 gram
Capers 1-2oz 50 grams
Garlic 3 cloves 3 cloves
Cream cheese 6 ounce 200 gram
Salt & Pepper A pinch A pinch

Salmon Pasta Recipe Preparation

  • Cut the salmon in long half an inch or 1cm slices
  • Cut the garlic as small as possible

Salmon Pasta Recipe Cooking Instructions

  1. Start cooking the pasta al Dente. Read here how to cook pasta to perfection.
  2. Put a little oil in a frying pan and add the garlic on medium heat.
  3. Don’t overcook the garlic, add the salmon and put the heat on low.
  4. Let the salmon cook just a little bit, but keep it a bit pink too.
  5. You may also add the capers now! Drain them first!
  6. Add the cream cheese and keep on stirring.
  7. Stir more and take the pan of the heat
  8. Add the sauce to the al Dente Pasta.
  9. Add lots of black pepper and bit of salt for taste! This makes the cream cheese taste better and the all other flavors to stand out more.
  10. If you have, add some dill for the looks!
